Picking peaches is really a fun experience to share with children! Usually, parents or childcare providers take kids strawberry picking in the summer and apple picking in the fall. But what about picking-your-own peaches? Kids will love to walk through the rows of peach trees and help you find the best fruits.

Depending on the varieties and the state (and yes, there are about 20 states where peaches grow successfully!), the season is from spring until late September. Don’t miss out on this very special activity with your little ones! And if you live far from a peach farm, why not taking a road trip, adding other activities along the way? You will sure come back home full of wonderful memories!

Keep in mind that many farms are not certified organic, and finding one that is, is always better for your family!
